So I was just browsing through ebay for some collectibles (I collect Indiana Jones stuff) and saw that some people made their own Grail Diary and were selling online for $300+!!!

So, not willing spend a third of my paycheck, I thought to myself that I could do that if I really, really tried.

As it turned out, I got a few giftcards to Michaels for Christmas and immediately put them to use. I found out what supplies I need to make the diary and got everything I need. I'm currently working on the binding of the book...so far so good.

I'm even going as far as inking the pages myself, instead of using pre-printed pages. I think that will add a great personal touch to it. I think its gonna be a lot of fun, and who knows...be some good practise on quick sketch type art.

I'll post follow-ups and possibly some pictures of the process. This will be a long journey though I think, so with a dusty fedora on my head, I'm ready to tackle this journey head-on
